ATX Commercial Roof Network is not a licensed roofing contractor, does not employ roofing crews, does not hold roofing permits and does not perform any roofing work. We do not inspect roofs, we do not write scopes, we do not install or repair anything, and we never appear on your invoice. What we do is operate a directory of Texas cities and counties and route quote requests to independent commercial roofing companies that work in those areas.
Every contract you sign is between you and that independent contractor. Every warranty, guarantee, price, schedule and piece of work is theirs. We are not a party to it.
Three things:
Commercial and low-slope roofing is a genuinely different trade from residential shingle work, different systems, different crews, different equipment, different failure modes, and a completely different insurance landscape. A building owner in Texas searching for help with a ponding TPO roof or a hail-bruised warehouse membrane ends up wading through pages written for homeowners. This directory is built for the other audience: building owners, facility managers, property managers and HOA boards.
The site is free to use. Commercial roofing contractors pay to receive quote requests from their service area. That is the entire business model, and we would rather state it plainly than pretend otherwise.
What it does not mean: we do not rank contractors by who pays most, we do not publish reviews or star ratings of our own, and we do not claim to have vetted, certified or endorsed anyone. Where business listings appear on a city page, the business information and reviews come from Google and are presented as such. We recommend on every page that you verify insurance, check references and compare more than one written quote - which is advice against our own short-term interest and exactly why we give it.
If a page shows no business listings for your city, that is not an oversight: it means we have no verified third-party data for that location, and we would rather show nothing than fabricate it.
Texas does not license roofing contractors at the state level, so verification is entirely on the building owner. At minimum: request current general liability and workers' compensation certificates issued to your entity; confirm the company is established locally rather than following a storm; ask whether they are approved by the manufacturer of the system being installed; get the scope in writing with the system, thickness and details named; and never let anyone pay, waive or absorb your insurance deductible: that is prohibited under Texas law.
